Chevy releases new teaser video for 2023 Z06

The official reveal of the 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 isn’t until next Tuesday October 26th, but to keep the interest high, Chevy has released a new teaser video showing a few interesting items, like an 8,600 Red Line Tach!

Not only does the above video show a tach with a 8,600rpm Red Line (16 seconds in), GM Tweeted on Tuesday that the official review will be in 8600 minutes (5 Days, 23 Hours and 20 Minutes in English). In the same picture, the speedometer shows it is in 3rd gear at 100MPH and climbing.

On-paper this sounds, and looks very impressive, but as Emelia Hartford said from the passenger seat “it revs so hard”!

Full details will be announced next week, on Tuesday October 26 at 9am pst, but it’s hard to imagine an 8600-rpm V-8 in the C8’s chassis being anything but spectacular.

Bob M and his 2017 Silver & Spice Red Z06 Convertible.

I receive Corvette Mike Thursday emails and noticed a 2017 that was shown. The Z06 colors just jumped out at me, plus it had 432 miles on it. I had halfheartedly been watching for a Z06, since I already had two C7’s, a Grand Sport convertible and a convertible 3LT, Z51. I thought this would be a nice to round out the collection with this Z06 convertible. So, I called Jeff and asked if they took trades, and he affirmed they did, depending on what I had to trade that was. So, I offered my C7 Coupe, an immaculate 2006 Chevrolet Red SSR, and some cash to close the deal. A week later my two cars were gone and this great Z06 is parked in their old spot.
