Take a look at this fresh photo of the new Corvettes at the Corvette Assembly Plant, poised for dispatch! At first glance, it looked like a snowy landscape, but it turns out those are brand-new Corvettes cloaked in their shipping covers, all set for delivery to dealerships for customers. It seems like Jack Cooper Transport might be struggling to keep pace.

As we welcome March, it’s an opportune moment to review some production insights and assess our current status. For these discussions, we refer to Roger Kiel’s Unofficial Production Estimate.

Early in the month, the plant ran some overtime shifts, and just this past week, production exceeded 200 units on several days. The E-Rays are on an upward trajectory, with 30 units produced during the week of February 19th, though this week saw a dip to 15 units through Thursday. While many of us are eager to see E-Ray production ramp up, it seems more time is needed before significant numbers are achieved.

On the topic of production volumes, analyzing the starting and ending VINs from Roger’s report reveals a total of 4,186 new Corvettes assembled in February. This includes approximately 3,299 Corvette Stingrays, 802 Z06s, and 85 E-Rays.
