Chevrolet Celebrates America’s 250th With A Special Corvette
July 9, 2026
![]() For more than 70 years, Corvette has proudly been known as “America’s Sports Car.” Now Chevrolet is leaning even further into that heritage with a special Corvette created to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Called the Corvette America Anniversary Edition, this limited-production C8 was created for the Japanese market and will be offered in just 20 examples. Based on the 2026 Corvette Stingray 3LT Coupe, it features Arctic White paint, red and black full-length racing stripes, an Adrenaline Red and Black interior, special anniversary badging, unique floor mats, door sills, and a red LT2 engine cover. Ironically, this America-themed Corvette is not being offered in America. These right-hand-drive Corvettes are built in Bowling Green, Kentucky, then exported to Japan, making it one of the more unusual special-edition Corvettes in recent memory. Here at home, Chevrolet is also celebrating with the Stars & Steel Collection, limited to 250 Corvettes for North America and available across the Corvette lineup, from Stingray to ZR1X. Whether overseas or here in the U.S., one thing remains clear: no car represents American performance quite like the Corvette. |
