The Corvette Museum is Opening Its Vault!
October 1, 2026A New Way to Experience
Corvette History!

The National Corvette Museum is about to give Corvette enthusiasts a look behind the scenes.
Beginning January 13, 2027, the Museum will offer guided tours of its new 66,000-square-foot Collections Facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The purpose-built facility can house more than 200 Corvettes and will provide visitors with a look at preservation and restoration areas normally hidden from public view.
The collection includes Corvettes from every generation, along with historically significant cars connected to design, engineering, racing, innovation, and American culture—including vehicles that are rarely displayed to the public.
Tickets are expected to go on sale by December 1, with tours limited in size and advance reservations required. A Collections Facility ticket will also include admission to the National Corvette Museum on the same day.
For Corvette enthusiasts planning a trip to Bowling Green in 2027, there will soon be even more Corvette history to see!
A Very Special Invitation

We’re proud to share some exciting news from Corvette Mike.
Two extraordinary automobiles. Two unforgettable Las Vegas settings. One exciting new chapter.
We’re proud to announce the official launch of the Vietro Collective, making its debut at the prestigious Wynn Concours d’Elegance, October 29–November 1, 2026, in Las Vegas.
Our beautiful 1963 Tuxedo Black Corvette Sting Ray Split-Window Z06 Coupe will be displayed on the lawn at Wynn as part of the Vietro Collective, rather than participating in the judged competition. It’s a fitting stage for the first-year C2, a car whose unmistakable silhouette still commands attention.
Alongside it will sit a stunning Ferrari 458 Spider celebrating Ferrari’s iconic 60th Anniversary in America. The Corvette’s dramatic split-window profile and the Ferrari’s flowing, sculpted lines will bring two distinct expressions of automotive beauty to the lawn at Wynn. Together, they’ll be a sight to behold.
This is what the Vietro Collective is about: remarkable automobiles, enduring design, and the passion that brings enthusiasts together. We can’t imagine a more memorable setting for its official introduction.
And the Corvette’s Las Vegas appearance won’t end there. During SEMA Week, November 3–6, 2026, the Tuxedo Black ’63 will take its place on stage November 5 at SEMA Industry Honors, the aftermarket industry’s annual celebration, held at the BleauLive Theater at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
SEMA itself has a remarkable history. The Association was formed in 1963, with the first SEMA Show held in 1967 at Dodger Stadium. The event moved to Las Vegas in 1977, making it the longest-running city-wide show in Las Vegas. In 2027, SEMA will celebrate its 60th show anniversary, marking six decades of bringing together some of the most influential people, vehicles, and innovations in the automotive world.
For all of us at Corvette Mike, these appearances are an honor and an exciting beginning for the Vietro Collective. From the lawn at Wynn to the awards stage at SEMA, this will be a Las Vegas adventure worth celebrating.
Join us at Wynn and be part of the Vietro Collective’s debut. Mark your calendar for October 29–November 1 and make plans to see these extraordinary automobiles in person. Contact Corvette Mike for display details and to connect with our team during the event.
The King of the Boss Mustangs
1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429
4,025 Original Miles

1970 Boss 429 — Kar Kraft #2288
Grabber Blue, 4,025 Original Miles
Some cars are driven. This one has been preserved.
We’re proud to present an unrestored 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429. Ford’s legendary NASCAR homologation special, hand-built by Kar Kraft to house the 429 cubic-inch V8 (375 hp, 4-speed manual).
Showing just 4,025 original miles, this Boss 9 remains all-original: paint, interior, engine, and chassis, finished in striking Grabber Blue with a white interior. Lovingly cared for by its third owner for nearly 40 years in Northern California.
The documentation is nothing short of extraordinary, including a written letter from Bob Perkins himself, on his letterhead, attesting to the car’s originality and authenticating its original mileage.
Unrestored, barely over 4,000 mile Boss 429s with this level of documentation simply don’t come to market often. Between its exceptional originality, remarkably low mileage, and Bob Perkins’ own authentication, this could be one of just a handful of examples like it left anywhere in the world.

The Beast Has Been Released!
1969 Corvette L89 Coupe

Can-Am White • Blue Interior • 427/435hp • 4-Speed
1969 marked the final year of the legendary 427 big-block Corvette, and Chevrolet certainly sent it out with a bang!
For those who wanted performance just below the all-out L88, but in a Corvette you could actually enjoy on the street, the L89 was something very special. It combined the solid-lifter, Tri-Power 427/435hp with aluminum cylinder heads, shedding approximately 75 pounds from the front of the car and improving handling in the process.
And Chevrolet built just 390 L89 Corvettes for 1969.
This stunning Can-Am White example has undergone a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration by Marquis Auto Restorations and has the pedigree to back it up: three NCRS Top Flight Awards: Chapter, Regional and National!
Best of all? Its original CCAS Certified engine still resides under the hood.
And this L89 is loaded: M21 close-ratio 4-speed, F41 heavy-duty suspension, side exhaust, power steering, power brakes, power windows, 4.11 Positraction, transistorized ignition, heavy-duty clutch, tilt/telescoping steering column, AM/FM stereo and more.
390 built. 427/435hp. Original CCAS Certified engine. Three NCRS Top Flights.
As Rare and Collectible as They Come!
