Zora C8 Spotted at Nürburgring
September 12, 2024Photo credit: Corvette Blogger and Stefan BaldaufChevy is gearing up to unleash its most powerful Corvette yet: the Zora. Named after Corvette legend Zora Arkus-Duntov, this hybrid supercar is expected to push beyond the limits of the already incredible ZR1. Recently spotted testing at the Nürburgring, the Zora prototype hinted at some serious upgrades, including a hybrid powertrain that could produce up to 1,220 horsepower. This next gen Corvette blends the ZR1’s twin-turbo V8 with electric motors, creating an all-wheel-drive beast designed to take on supercars like Ferrari’s SF90. While Chevy hasn’t officially confirmed the Zora, the clues are hard to miss. With a nod to its namesake, this new Corvette aims to deliver the mid-engine powerhouse Zora envisioned decades ago. Get ready, because the Zora is set to change the game. |

I really loved the Sebring Orange color when it appeared in 2018. I found a brand new 2018 Sebring Orange Grand Sport at our local Chevrolet Dealer and I was going to trade in my 2017 Watkins Glenn Gray Stingray on the Grand Sport. Unfortunately, one of the salesmen took the 2018 out on a test ride, had turned the traction control off, lost control, and totaled it out hitting the overhead bridge support on South I29 interstate here in Sioux Falls ! Found my 2019 Sebring Orange Grand Sport at another Dealer in South Dakota, and at the time just loved the High ZTK wing on the 2019 ZR-1, so just had to do it. Mine is special as I ordered it Carbon Flash black instead of Carbon Fiber black. Just completed it real late this Summer but boy do I get the looks! Thanks! Wayne H. |
1974 Green L82 Coupe
This exceptional and rare ’74 Corvette was purchased from its original owner and recently acquired by us from a collector client. The car has been driven sparingly over the past 25 years and has been garage-kept its entire life, keeping it in excellent condition. 1974 marked the introduction of the new flexible rear bumpers, though GM hadn’t quite perfected the compound yet. What makes this model particularly special is that it’s an entirely original L82 with a 4-speed, making it one of the most desirable ’74 Corvettes on the market! Key options include: Mileage 22,985
Very original and a fantastic driver! This Silver Pearl ’65 Corvette is an outstanding example of a classic mid-year that’s been well-maintained, driven, and enjoyed over the decades. It’s not just a showpiece—it’s a car you can confidently drive anywhere without needing a security detail trailing behind you! One of the best-driving ’65s we’ve had in quite some time. Under the hood, it features a numbers-matching L76 small block paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Additional highlights include power brakes, power windows, aluminum knock-off wheels wrapped in white-wall radial tires, an AM/FM radio, a Teakwood steering wheel, and a new exhaust system. It’s been repainted once, while the original interior remains in great condition, and it comes with a newer soft top. Freshly serviced and ready to hit the road, this ’65 is one of the nicest running mid-years we’ve had in a while— a true blast to drive!
