1,000hp Throwback

So, you don’t like the design of the C7 Corvette and think that only being able to order 750hp under the hood is a bit low? Well the U.S.-based team over at Equus Automotive has your solution.

The folks that created the Bass 770 are back with a heavily-restyled C7 Corvette, the Equus Throwback. The end result is a 1000-HP Supercar with 822 lb.-ft. of torque and a claimed 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds.

The Throwback is more than just a kitted-up ‘Vette. The exterior has been transformed with the company’s unique styling, featuring two center-mounted fog lights up front, and taillights reminiscent of a late-model C3 Corvette. The interior keeps the same basic layout as the C7 but is upgraded with Equus’s own materials and styling.

Other details are a bit slim, but it has a starting price of $130,000 for the base model. They are also only building 25 of them, so if you like it, you better order soon.
