For the few people out there still thinking Chevrolet is not releasing a Mid-Engine Corvette, there is news that GM has does a Teaser of the Mid-Engine C8 Corvette to dealers.

The mid-engine GM Sports-Car seen in different spy shots around is not a Cadillac, It’s a Corvette. According to GM Authority, Chevrolet showed teaser images of the car to its dealer body at the National Automobile Dealers Association. The source, Nate Chandler of Van Bortel Chevrolet in New York state, posted to Facebook and the Corvette Forum describing what he saw at the meeting.

We will let you know more as news comes out.

The National Corvette Museum has found another way for people to get that Corvette feeling. From March through October of this year, they are offering to give rides in your choice of Museum owned Corvette!

Offered Monday-Saturday starting at 9am and ending at 3pm (or booked up), you can  choose to take a ride in one of three Corvettes, a 1966 Rally Red Convertible 327, 1979 Corvette Red Coupe or 2003 50th Anniversary Convertible. The price is $20 for a 3-mile loop (10-15 minutes). Rides may fill up fast, so reserve your ride at our Admissions counter upon arrival.

Want to go a bit faster? Then a trip across the street may be in order. The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park is less than two miles from the Museum and offers the chance for you to do a “Hot Lap” where one of their professional drivers will take you for a spin in a Corvette around the track with average speeds toping 100 MPH. You need to contact them in advance (justin@motorsportspark.org or 270-777-4509) to make sure the track is available and that there is an opening.
